1. Use of the Platform
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information
2. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post illegal, harmful, abusive, or defamatory content
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Upload spam, scams, or misleading content
- Attempt to access or interfere with systems or accounts that are not yours
3. User-Generated Content
- You retain ownership of any content you submit
- You grant PlotPit a licence to display and distribute your content within the platform
- You are solely responsible for the content you post
Content submitted by users reflects their own views and not those of PlotPit. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user content.
4. Content Moderation & Reporting
We aim to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
- We may remove content that violates these Terms
- We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion
- Users can report content they believe is inappropriate or harmful
5. Book Clubs & Social Features
- Book clubs may be public or private
- Club admins are responsible for managing their communities
- We are not responsible for interactions between users
6. Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform. Features may be modified or removed at any time.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlotPit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, including user-generated content or interactions between users.
8. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time.
9. Premium Subscriptions & Payments
PlotPit offers an optional recurring Premium subscription. The price, currency, billing frequency, trial terms (if any), and applicable tax information are shown before you confirm payment. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the stated billing interval until you cancel it
- You can manage or cancel your subscription online from your PlotPit billing settings
- When you cancel, Premium access continues until the end of the current paid billing period
- Any change to the subscription price will be communicated before it applies to a future billing period
- If a payment fails, Premium access may end when your current paid access period expires
Nothing in these Terms affects any cancellation, refund, or other statutory rights available to you under applicable consumer law. Contact support@plotpit.app if you have a billing question.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
